This is a simple recipe just like my mom made it. Which would be Grannies recipe with vanilla sauce on top. When you have left over bread or plenty of slices needing to make something with, then make this Bread and apple pudding Bake.
Or just needing a delicious apple pudding then get this easy and tasteful recipe to bake.

How To.
Cut bread pieces into squares, slice apples thinly or cube them small.
Combine the bread ,apples and raisons in a bowl. Then melt the brown sugar butter and milk in a saucepan. Pouring this mixture over the bread ingredients. Stir around and mix this altogether.
Pour this Bread mixture in the greased baking dish and level out.
Then mixing the eggs and milk and vanilla well. Pouring over the bread mixture.
Baking it until done. Making the vanilla sauce and pouring it over the baked bread pudding before serving.

This bread pudding with apples and vanilla sauce is served in slices for a pudding or a great breakfast.

So delicious and tasty with the apples baked with the raisons and bread.
Serve either with custard if you do not like the vanilla sauce. The sauce has a lot of sugar in but there are choices.

Ingredients
4 Cups of cubed bread
1/4 cup of raisons
2 cups of peeled and cubed or sliced apples
1 cup of brown sugar
1 3/4 cups of milk
1/4 cup of butter
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
2 large eggs beaten
Vanilla Sauce
1/4 cup of white sugar
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of butter
1teaspoon of vanilla essence
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 175 Deg. C (350 Deg. F)
Grease the baking dish of(about 7 x 11inch)
Add the bread raisons and apple slices in a large bowl.
In a saucepan add the butter and 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 3/4 cups of milk and the 1/4 cup of butter. Melt over a medium heat.
Then pour over the bread mixture.
In another small bowl mix the egg vanilla and cinnamon.
Pour the bread mixture into baking dish and pour this egg mixture over the bread mixture.
Bake in the oven for 40 -50 minutes until test cooked in the middle or the apple pieces are tender.
While the bread pudding is baking mix and heat up the white and brown sugar and butter on a medium heat, bring to the boil. Remove and then add the vanilla and mix.
When the dish is baked pour over the bread pudding. Serve
