Ingredients
- 1 cup of flour
- 3/4 cup of sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 3 tbsp of cocoa
- 2 tsp of baking powder
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/2 cup of milk (substitute with almond or coconut milk)
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tsp of van extract
The topping
- 3/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of cocoa
- 1/1/4 boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 deg. C (356 deg. F)
- In a baking dish add the dry and wet ingredients all together in the dish you are going to bake the pudding in.
- Mix this all together until incorporated well. level it out in the dish.
- Then mix the topping, sugar, cocoa, and the boiling water together, add over the top of the pudding mixture.
- Place it in the oven and Bake the dessert until done.
- Bake for 40 min.
- Take out and place on a cooling rack or cooling mat for a few minutes. Serve warm as the sauce will be at the bottom of the pudding.
- Serve in a dessert bowl and spoon some sauce over the serving. An option is to add a dollop of ice cream or cream. enjoy.
