Have some sugar free cheese scones with ice tea.

Do you serve scones warm or cold?
To have scones at their best serve or eat while still warm as they are then still light and fluffy.
What is the secret to a good scone?
The secret to the flakiest scones is to start with cold ingredients. Cold butter, cold eggs, and cold cream. Similar to making pie crust, using cold ingredients prevents the butter from melting before the scones are baked, leaving it instead to melt in the oven and create a super-flaky end result.
Do cheese scones need to be refrigerated?
No, scones and biscuits and muffins need to be kept in a sealed container at room temperature. Muffins will last for abut 3 days and scones and biscuits should be eaten within one or two days. Best fresh and tasty.
