Candy Cane Nutella Fudge Recipe
An easy chocolate candy cane Nutella or almond nut chocolate spread, fudge recipe idea to create for the holiday season. Christmas or Thanksgiving desserts or snacks for the kids and family. A No Bake Stove Top condensed milk recipe decorated with red and white festival candy cane pieces.
What is the secret to good fudge?
- Best tip is to monitor the temperature of you fudge mixture. It has to be correct other wise if its to soft and does not set, then it did not get to temperature. If to hard and crunchy then you cooked it at to high a temperature to long.
- Avoid stirring once the mixture comes to temperature and starts to boil.
- Mix mixture thoroughly while heating.
Should you stir fudge while it’s boiling?
Stirring the ingredients until the sugar has melted and until it comes to a boil. Then do not stir any more.
Do you cover fudge while it sets?
When you have cooked the fudge pour into a greased pan and leave to set and cool just for about 2 minutes, then cover with a plastic cling wrap so the top does not get a skin forming while cooling. Once cooled place in the fridge for further setting.

How To
With a pot or deep pan on low heat, add the condensed milk and chocolate chips and stir until melted. Then add all the other ingredients and stir on a low heat until all are combined and smooth and shiny. About 5 minutes.
Pour into a greased and lined dish to set. But decorate with broken candy cane and leave to cool before placing the the fridge for a while.
Then cut up into squares and store in sealed containers for desserts or snacks for events or parties.

Ingredients
- 1.1/3 cups (11 oz)of chocolates chips
- 1/2 cup of Nutella or almond chocolate spread
- red and white candy sticks for Christmas decoration
- 1 tins of 398 g. (14 oz) condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line a pan with greased or spray and cook, foil about 8 x 8 inch.
- In a pot over low heat, add the condensed milk and chocolate chips and stir until melted. Then the rest of the ingredients and mix them well together and stir until all is well combined and smooth and shiny.
- Stop stirring once the fudge mixture starts to boil.
- Pour all the mixture into the greased lined pan. Break up pieces of the red and white candy cane sticks and place them on the top of the fudge. Then leave to cool for a minute or two then cover with plastic wrap to prevent a skin forming.
- Then place in the fridge for 4 hours
- Cut the set fudge on a bread board cleanly with a hot clean dry knife to make clean pieces of fudge.
- Store in a sealed closed container, wrapped in wax paper.
