Ingredients

  1. 8 Chicken pieces (legs, wings and half cut breasts and so on)
  2. Flour 1 1/2 cup
  3. Buttermilk 3/4 cups
  4. Egg 1
  5. Paprika 1/4 cup
  6. Black pepper 1 1/2 tbsp.
  7. Garlic 1 1/2 tbsp.
  8. Basil 2 tsp.
  9. Oregano 2 tsp.
  10. Salt 1 tbsp.

Instructions

  1. Dry the chicken. Divide into good size pieces for finger food.
  2.  Add to a bowl the mixed milk or buttermilk, egg and other part of salt.
  3. place the chicken pieces first into the liquid mixture to marinate for at least 30 minutes minutes to tenderize.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, all the spices and half the salt.
  5. Then into the dry mixture and place on a wire rack for 15 min
  6. Heat up a large sauce pan or pot with the oil. Add about 4 pieces at a time, so they do not stick together. Fry in oil until all sides are nice and golden brown. About 5-7 minutes each batch.
  7. Place them in the oven of 175 Deg. C for another 20 minutes to complete the cooking process.
  8. Place them on a cooler rack to any excess oil drips off. Even a brown paper will absorb any excess oils.
  9. Serve with tomato sauce or ketchup and a salad or any side dish you would like.
