Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe bananas, frozen sliced or mashed.
  • 2 Tablespoons of Picari 100 % cocoa powder(unsweetened cocoa powder)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons of almond milk (or unsweetened milk of choice)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • Pacari 100%organic chocolate chips for decoration

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen banana slices to a food processor or high-powered blender.
  2. Add the Pacari Organic Cocoa Powder, vanilla extract, almond milk, and salt.
  3. Blend until the bananas break down into a thick, smooth, and creamy mixture, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
  4. If the mixture is too thick to blend, add a small splash of milk, one tablespoon at a time, until it reaches a creamy consistency.
  5. Serve immediately for a soft-serve style chocolate banana ice cream, or transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 30 to 60 minutes for a firmer texture.
  6. Scoop into serving bowls and garnish with Pacari Organic Chocolate Chips before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Serving by adding your 100% organic chocolate chips over the ice cream or include them with the ice cream.
  • Add Crushed nuts of choice to the topping.
  • Sprinkle the cocoa powder over the ice cream.

The ripe bananas are the sweetener in this recipe, or add any other diabetic sweetener.
