Ingredients

  1. 1 lb (500 g)ground beef
  2. 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  3. 1 tsp garlic powder
  4. 1/2 tsp Paprika
  5. 1/2 tsp pepper and salt
  6. 10.5 oz (297 g - 300 g)can cream of mushroom soup
  7. 2 cups frozen peas and carrots, slightly thawed
  8. 8 oz (250 g) 1 cup)shredded cheddar cheese or any melting cheese.
  9. 2 lbs (900g) frozen tater tots (potato) defrosted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 deg. F (200 deg. C)
  2. Dice the onion.
  3. Cook the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking the meat apart as it cooks, until no longer pink. Drain any grease. Mix the seasonings into the meat.
  4. Add the cream of mushroom, carrots and peas. Mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into the casserole dish. Sprinkle the cheese over the top.
  6. Arrange tater tots to cover the top in an even layer. Discard or save any extras.
  7. Transfer the pan to the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes.
