  2. 1 ripe avocado
  3. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  4. 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
  5. 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  6. 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  7. 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  8. 4 slices of your favorite wholemeal bread (whole grain, sourdough, or gluten-free)

  4. Using a fork, mash the avocado to your desired consistency (smooth or slightly chunky).

  8. Toast the slices of bread until golden and crispy.
