Easy No Bake Oreo Truffle Balls Recipe idea to create with just 4 ingredients. Cream Cheese and chocolate snack for a dessert or appetizer.

Ingredients

  1.  25 – 30 oreo’s
  2. 3 1/2 cups of small chocolate chips (optional sweet or dark chocolate)
  3. 1 cup (8 ounce) cream cheese
  4. sprinkles or decorations of choice.(seasonal will also be good, such as Christmas time, Easter, or birthdays)

 

 

Instructions

  1. Crush the oreos in a large ziplock bag or a food processor until you have course crumbs.
  2. Add them to a large bowl with the cream cheese and mix until well combined.
  3. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a glass bowl over a pot of water, until smooth and shiny.
  6.  With a fork pierce the oreo balls and place each ball into the melted chocolate and coat well. When coated knock your hand and not the fork to drop the coated ball on a rack to cool. Top with sprinkles. 
  7.  Put the tray back into the freezer for 10-15 minutes or until the chocolate is set.

Notes

  • use chocolate chips of choice, sweet small ones or dark 70 % chips.
  • Any type of chocolate biscuits is good to use.
