Ingredients

  1. 1/2 head of cauliflower
  2. 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
  3. 1 cup of grated cheese
  4. 1 clove of garlic
  5. 1-2 tablespoons of flour or starch
  6. 3/4 cup of milk
  7. 1/4 cup of cream
  8. 3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
  9. 2 tablespoons butter
  10. 1 teaspoon each of paprika, dried garlic, and coriander
  11. 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  12. Salt and pepper to taste.

Instructions

  1. Cut the cauliflower into small florets and place in a bowl. Add salt, pepper, spices, olive oil, and leave to marinate for 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 deg. C (356 deg F). Place the cauliflower florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Roasting brings out the delicious flavors.
  2. Place the butter and pressed garlic in a non-stick saucepan. Add the flour and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the cream and milk. Bring the contents of the pan to a boil. Add the cheese and wait for it to melt. The sauce is ready.
  4. Transfer the cauliflower to a casserole baking dish to. Pour the cheese sauce over it and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes in the oven until golden brown.
  5. Mac and cheese cauliflower can be served in a baking dish. Complement the dish with sliced fresh tomatoes and herbs and enjoy a meal that won’t harm your figure.
  6. Mac and cheese cauliflower can be stored in the refrigerator in a container for 3-4 days and reheated as needed.
