Ingredients

  1. 1 cup regular or plant-based milk (almond, coconut, or oat work well)
  2. 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  3. 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  4. A pinch of ground ginger
  5. pinch of ground black pepper
  6. 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  7. Optional: splash of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Pour your milk of choice into a small saucepan and place over medium heat.
  2. Add turmeric, cinnamon, ginger,. Stir continuously to blend the spices well.
  3. Allow the mixture to heat gently for about 3–5 minutes, stirring often. Don’t let it boil — just warm until steaming.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in sweetener to taste, and add vanilla if desired.
  6. Pour into a mug and enjoy immediately while it’s warm and comforting.
