Ingredients

Units Scale
  1. 2 Puff pastry rolls (store bought)
  2. 1 cup diced roast turkey
  3. 2/3 cup chicken broth
  4. 1/2 cup 15% cream
  5. 1 clove garlic
  6. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  7. 1/3 cup chopped onion
  8. 1 tablespoon flour
  9. 1/3 cup chopped celery
  10. 1/3 cup carrots
  11. 1/2 cup green peas
  12. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  13. 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  14. 1/2 teaspoon cilantro
  15. salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a frying pan with hot oil, place the onion, celery, carrots and minced garlic. Fry the vegetables until translucent. Add the flour and fry it with the vegetables for a minute.

2. Pour in the broth and room temperature cream. Bring to the boil and add green peas and turkey. Cook the sauce on low heat for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens. Add salt, pepper and spices. Cool the filling.

3. Sprinkle the mold with oil. Put 1 circle of dough, prick with a fork. Put the filling.

4. Place the 2nd circle of dough on top, cut off the excess. Roll out the excess into a layer. Print out the goose and gosling templates and form figures.

5. Lay out the goose and goose. Press the edges and make cuts to allow steam to escape. Grease the dough with cream, milk or yolk. Cook in the oven at 175 ° C until golden brown. You will need about 30 minutes.

Serve the finished pie in the mold warm. Serve with a light green salad (such as spinach or arugula with a citrus dressing).

A small dollop of cranberry sauce will enhance the turkey flavor and bring back memories of Thanksgiving.
